Treatment Process

ESI has invested – or invented – the most advanced methods of treating a wide variety of industrial non-hazardous waste streams. To date, over 5,000 waste streams have been approved for treatment at our state-of-the-art facility. Treated wastewater is released into the Indianapolis municipal wastewater system at containment levels that are below regulated discharge standards.

New customers receive approval from our in-house laboratory when a sample is tested for compatibility with our treatment protocols. Once approved and scheduled, every shipment we receive is tested again prior to unloading to ensure compliance.

Optimal treatment performance standards are achieved by employing the Best Achievable Control Technology, as recognized by the Environmental Protection Agency. Our ISO 14001-certified facility exceeds all current federal, state and local standards.
